Singer Nakanwagi Winnie alias Winnie Nwagi revealed that it’s hard raising a child as a single mother because of the obligations that come with it.

Winnie Nwagi separated from her baby daddy years back, and since then she has been raising their daughter Destiny Mirembe as a single parent.

According to her, single motherhood is so hectic as it comes with a lot of responsibilities including Financing the child, Giving them time, Nurturing and Guiding them, among others.

The Swangz Avenue singer noted that it’s challenging to give all that to a child as a single mother, however, it’s a must-do for them to grow and be productive in society.

Nwagi explained that single motherhood is not for the weak and applauded those who effectively practice it. She went ahead and advised fellow single mothers to work hard and ensure that they provide for their children.

Meanwhile, apart from Winnie Nwagi, many women in Uganda and the world at large are single mothers, some became single mothers because of the death of their baby daddies, and others are single mothers because fathers to their children abandoned their responsibilities.
