Cindy, Sheebah prove their musical strength in mega Kololo battle

Friday, September 15th /2023 , was registered in   the history of Uganda’s entertainment industry as two incredible female musicians “Cindy and Sheebah” took to the stage to tussle it out for the crown of who’s better at what they do.

The battle took place at Kololo Independence Grounds, a venue that was almost sold out to capacity, gates were wide open by 7:00 AM, and by 10: AM revellers had started walking hither and dither to be part of the monumental event.

The battle performances kicked off at 9:00 PM with Sheebah Karungi opening the live session, the star and her entourage made a stunning grand entrance, as she reported on stage from the revellers’ side covered in white apparel.

She started her performance with her Kisasi Kimu song, followed by Baliwa, Malidadi, By the Way, Ice Cream, Twesana, Akuse, Jordan, Tunywe, and Nipe Yote amid cheers from the Sheebaholics.

At 9: 45PM dancehall singer Cindy Sanyu made her grand entrance enclosed in a white casket and commenced her performance with her Run the City song, Sun Set, One by One a collaboration with Nigerian star Skales, among others.

The two musicians took part in multiple other rounds and each round came with a new outfit and vibe. A few minutes to 2:00am, the battle went down to an even more intense interface, with both artists facing off back-to-back. This particular set called for everyone to pull out their best cards, performing two songs each at a time.

The two treated the revelers to energetic performances and threw jabs at each other at different stages of the battle.

The night was made up of several unforgettable highlights, that will leave an unforgettable memory in the minds of whoever graced the event and the conversation on who won the battle still lingers on via social media.
