Bedroom Chains to show on Qatar airways flights screens

A Ugandan movie titled “Bedroom Chains” will be shown on Qatar Airways screens during its flights.

The exciting news was revealed by Nisha Kalema, who serves as both a co-producer and actor in the project, noting that the movie will be available for passengers during flights to and from Uganda.

Kalema expressed joy over the achievement and said that such accomplishments  pave the way for more Ugandan projects and contribute to the growth of Uganda’s tourism sector.

"Bedroom Chains" is a Ugandan  powerful life-changing tragic story that highlights the rights of women and how they fight to survive in a male-dominated world.

The movie was directed by Hassan Mageye and features outstanding actors and actresses including Joanah Jojo Nabakiibi, Nisha Kalema among others.

It has received a number of nominations at The African Film and Arts Festival, Silicon Valley Film Festival, Durban International Film Festival.The same movie also garnered over six nominations and scooped two awards at the Uganda Film Festival in 2022.
