Pop superstar Taylor Swift set another record on Sunday 4th /February, winning the Grammy award for album of the year for an unprecedented fourth time

Grammy Awards are awards presented by the Recording Academy of the United States to recognize "outstanding" achievements in the music industry.

This 66th edition ,Swift was presented the top honor at the end of the night for her album Midnights in a surprise appearance by music icon Celine Dion at the star-studded event which took place at the Crypto .com Arena In Los Angeles .

The 34-year-old won album of the year for "Midnights," eclipsing music legends Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder, who each claimed the prize three times.

The big win made her the first person to ever win the top prize four times as she was previously tied with Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra, and Paul Simon for the record.

“I would love to tell you that this is the best moment of my life," Swift said holding the statue for album of the year, "but I feel this happy when I finish a song, or when I crack the code to a bridge that I love, or when I’m shot listing a music video or when I’m rehearsing with my dancers or my band or getting ready to go to Tokyo to play a show."

That was not the only award Swift won. Earlier she took home the golden gramophone for Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights and announced that she has a new album dubbed “The Tortured Poets Department” which will be released on April/ 19th.

Over the course of Swift’s career, she’s been nominated for 52 Grammy awards, and her record-breaking Album of the Year statue marks her 14th win.

Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish took the other top awards at Sunday's ceremony. R&B stars SZA and Victoria Monét and all-female indie supergroup Boygenius also picked up multiple awards. Killer Mike was the top male winner, taking home three rap trophies
