Buganda Kingdom Premier urges artists to be professional

The Prime Minister of Buganda Kingdom Charles Peter Mayiga called for professionalism in the entertainment sector to enable growth.

Mayiga noted that entertainers, most especially artists, should treat their craft as professional jobs as it earns them much respect from the public and also enables proper growth of their talents.

“Artists need to understand that singing is a job just like being a Lawyer or a Farmer. They need to embrace and treat their craft as a profession”

He added that they need to invest time, patience, sacrifice, and knowledge among other factors if they are to highly benefit from their talents.

He made the remarks at Rema Namakula’s concert dubbed “Melodies Of Love “which took place on Friday 23rd/ February/ 2024 at Sheraton Kampala Hotel and was registered as a success.
