Veteran Music producer Didi originally known as Abdul Karim Muchwa showed commitment towards sensitizing the public about HIV/ AIDS  having tested positive days back.

Didi publicly revealed that he is HIV positive. In a video clip, he shared that he discovered his status after a recent hospital visit for a checkup. “I have HIV, the virus that causes AIDS,” he said. “I confirmed this after a hospital visit.”

Despite that challenge, the producer is determined to create awareness about the virus, He says he intends to use his platform to inspire and educate others on living a positive life with bravery and hopes to get support from different people in the industry to not only to raise awareness but also to caution others including artists and fans.

 
 

Didi’s career has yielded numerous hits, including Eddy Kenzo’s “Stamina,” “Bolingo,” and “Sitya Loss,” Henry Tigan’s “Empisazo,” Gift of Kado’s “Traffic Man Officer,” Coco Finger’s “Mikono Wagulu,” and “My Miss,” among others.
