Part of the land where her son the late Mowzey Radio was buried in Kagga ,Nakawuka Wakiso district does not belong to them.
The late Mowzey Radio’s mother Ms. Kasuubo Jane is seeking financial assistance of UGX 350M to rescue her son’s land.
Ms. Kasuubo pleaded for financial aid from all well-wishers and revealed that the part of the land where her son the late Mowzey Radio was buried in Kagga, Nakawuka Wakiso district does not belong to them.
She added that after a short period, access to her late son’s burial site will be restricted because people currently cross through privately owned land to get there.
Ms Kasuubo is optimistic that the acquisition of the land will ease visitor's access to the Radio's grave which turned into a tourist attraction with a couple of prominent people including Jamaican singer Konshens having visited the place.
She revealed how she approached the Uganda National Musicians Federation President Eddy Kenzo about the matter and he made a few promises "I sought help from Kenzo, he promised to come and take a tour of the land but he has never come back", Ms Kasuubo narrated.
