A family of four poisoned in Kyazanga

Police in Kyazanga is investigating the circumstances under which a family took poisoned millet porridge commonly known as Bushera. One family member died instatntly while and  3 others are admitted in Kyazanga healthy center.

The deceased has been identified as Sadat Kyohirwe 26 year resident of Katuro village in Kyazanga town council in Lwengo district.

According to Lameck Kigozi the greater Masaka police spokesperson the three others admitted in critical condition at Kyazanga healthy center are Lillian Nagasha, Beatrice Tushemerirwe, and Angel Ainembabazi suspected of having had poisoned Bushera on Monday night.

Kigozi adds that scene of crime officers picked Bushera samples suspected to have been mixed with poison  and took them to the  laboratory to establish what could be the cause of incident.
