FDC has quit the Inter Party Organization for Dialogue-IPOD

Opposition party Forum for Democratic Change -FDC has quit the Inter Party Organization for Dialogue -IPOD, until a new memorandum is signed.

FDC Party spokesperson Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda says organization is operating under an expired agreement.

Ssemujju notes that the last memorandum had over six parties including the Conservative Party and JEEMA which are no longer represented in the Parliament.

He says they intend to write to the IPOD secretariat to inform them about their position.

In others news from the party at Najanankumbi, Forum for Democratic Change- FDC  is demanding for a clear explanation from the government on the procedures of international job candidature that requires sponsorship of the tax payers money.

Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda, the Party spokesperson says Uganda must have a policy of seconding, campaigning and selecting Ugandans for all international jobs, adding that this policy should explain who and how someone becomes a candidate.

FDC claims that when Olara Otunnu wanted to renew his UN job the government failed to second and finance him, but  were quick to finance Former VP Wandera  Kazibwe's bid for the AU leadership.
