The department of immigration at ministry of internal affairs has urged all foreigners working in country always to move along with their work permits as well as other necessary legal documents to avoid falling victims.
This following the arrest of 45 Asians from Kampala and Kamwenge district yesterday evening by the legal and inspection team at the ministry of internal affairs after found them without proper and legal work permits.
According to Jacob Siminyu, heads of communication department at the ministry, after the arrest they screened them and found out that out of the 45 only 15 had no work permits and were working with foreign road construction company and while others have been working in some of the arcade in Kampala, the capital of Uganda.
