Authorities in Masaka district have started vaccinating people against yellow fever.
Dr Stuart Musisi the Masaka district health officer says the exercise will last four days after ministry of health giving the district equipments to be used.
Dr Musisi says vaccination will be conducted in all 155 health centers in the district.
He says more than 600 health workers including village health team are participating in exercise. He is now appealing to people to go for free vaccination.
Yellow fever broke out in Masaka district last month. 11 people cases were reported and seven have so far died of the disease since the outbreak.
