By Robert Segawa

The Inspector General of Police Gen.Kayihura has ordered that police officers in Malaba, Busia and Kisoro border points be suspended and sent for refresher courses.

According to the Bukedea region  Sowali Kamulya, the IGP acted after receiving complaints from the public over misconduct of the said officers.

He said the officers from the rank of constable to Assistant Superintendent of police had been cited in aiding smugglers and failure to respond to emergencies from members of the public.

The new development affects officers from DPCs to OC stations.
