Indian investor found dead in hotel room

Police in Kampala is investigating the circumstances under which Indian Investor was found dead in his Hotel room at Speke Hotel Kampala.

The deceased has been identified as Anantha Narayam Ramesh, 53 year old working with Mahindra Consulting Engineers based in New Delhi capital of India.

According to Luke Owoyesigyire the Deputy police spokesperson Kampala metropolitan, the Indian business man arrived in the country on 5th May_2019 and booked at Speke Hotel where he has been residing.

Owoyesigyire adds that on Saturday morning police was called by the management of Speke hotel who had found him dead in his room 101.

He adds that central police station crime department is still analysing the footage from the Speak Hotel cameras to establish the exact cause of death.

Police has called on duty stuffs to record their statement on sudden death of Indian business man, those recorded statement are head of Security Speke hotel, Duty manager, room attendant who found the body , together with waiter and waitress in Speke Hotel restaurant.

According to documents found in Anantha Ramesh bag, he was supposed to fly back to India on Saturday aboard Emirates Airlines.

Owoyesigyire further explains that the preliminary postmortem report shows that he lacked oxygen because of the blood clot found in the lung.

Luke added that , they had informed the next of kin through the Indian embassy to claim the body for burial as investigation into the matter continue.
