Members of parliament from Karamoja sub region have attributed he poor performance of pupils to lack of basic school necessities in their area. The MPs have explained that the the entire population in Karamoja has adopted a positive attitude towards education.
However Member of Parliament Dodoth East Kabong ,Samson Lokeris says much as they have embraced the need to go to school,they don't have schools and teachers. Lokeris is appealing to the ministry of Education to prioritize the setting up of more schools in the region so as to have more children enrolled.
