KCCA bans fuel tank trucks in the city center during day

By Robert Segawa

The Kampala Capital City Authority wants fuel tanks to stop accessing the central business area of Kampala during working hours. The executive director KCCA Jenifer Musisi says the fuel tank can cause serious risks of fire outbreak that could lead to loss of life and property.

Musisi says the risk is based on too much congestion in the central business during the day. She further says fuel tank should only access the city at night when business in city is slow to avoid such risks.
