Kyambogo University has indefinitely suspended one of its student accused of attempting to murder a female student at the same university.
Muhamed Mayanja was sent packing after police preliminary report indicated that he tried to kill Victoria Mary Nagayi.
The report further shows that the suspect bought a new sharp pang which he used to cut Nagayi on March 18 2016.
He attacked her from the toilet where she had gone to answer natures call.
Nagayi sustained several cut injuries.
Mayanja accused her of embezzling his tuition fees, money he had injected into their joint mobile money business with aim of making quick profits.
The letter suspending the Mayanja was written by the University vice chancellor.
