Kyotera district has been chosen to host this years 56th independence anniversary celebrations.
The minister in charge of the presidency Easter Mbayo says the celebrations will held under the theme "standing tall to celebrate 56th independence as we renew our commitments,thank you all who have played their part" .
Easther Mbayo says government is working heard to consolidate the achievements in delivering basic services to the public.She adds that by now , all the District headquarters, except for Kaabong and Buvuma, have now been connected to the national grid.
The main celebrations slated for Tuesday next week shall be held at Kasasa grounds,Kasasa sub county in Kyotera district.
