Parents are advised to collaborate with schools to promote their children's talents.

Speaking at an event where Little Miss Uganda Western Region Ainomugisha Haira was launching her new project dubbed "Ha Voice” at Green Hill Academy Primary School Kibuli, the Headteacher Whalice Ekiri notes that collaboration between the parents and schools goes a long way in helping the children’s talents to rightly grow.

Mr. Ekiri noted that parents should engage in the promotion of children's talents in several ways including guiding and mentoring them.

He added, with that collaboration children's talents will rightly grow and you never know if this could become their career in the future.

On her part, Queen Haira asked her fellow children to always be open and ask their parents for support whenever the need arises.

She explained that it is hard for little ones to develop their talents without their parents ‘support. Haira went ahead and applauded schools for giving children chances to expose their talents.

Her mother Agaba Patricia Kwera revealed that she was glad for the step her daughter took and just like Whalice she urged parents to support children as they take on their careers.

Miss Agaba stated that academics is not enough for one to succeed but balancing a social life with it can at least ease success.

Haira introduced her new project "Ha Voice" to advocate for children’s rights and educate them on several issues including culture among others.
