A group of local defense personnel who were foot patrolling while imposing curfew have shot dead one and left other nursing bullet injuries in Kween district.
The deceased has been identified as Alfred Mwanga aged 46 year resident of Kapkwat village in Kapkwat Sub county.
According to the Sipi region police spokesman Fredrick Chesang, another person identified as David Chemusito 30 years of age also resident of Kamujong village was also been injured in incident and is currently admitted in Kapchorwa hospital.
He adds that police have launched investigation to arrest all culprit and bring them to book.
