A 25 year old man has pleaded guilty to the charge of assault and causing bodily harm.
The suspect Alex Abaho a resident of Kisalosalo zone in Kawempe division was also accused of threatening to burn his friend into Ashes for yet unknown reasons.
He appeared before city hall court grade one magistrate Valerian Tuhimbise who read to him the said charges and was convicted on his own plea.
He however immediately after accepting the said charges asked for leniency promising to never repeat the said offenses.
He has now been remanded to Luzira prison until the 13th of this month when he will be handed his sentence.
Prosecution states that the accused on the 2nd of June 2019 at Kyebando in the Kampala district with intent to intimidate Abel Kawereebe threatened to burn him.
