Man remanded for stealing a phone

Buganda road court grade one magistrate Robert Mukanza has charged and remanded to Luzira prison an 18 year old youth who was caught on the newly installed CCTV cameras snatching a smart phone from a woman at shoprite around cloak Towers.

The suspect Esau Nduhukire who is unemployed and a resident of Salama- Masaja in Makindye division kampala district has been remanded after pleading not guilty to the charge of theft .
He has now been remanded until the 4th of February when hearing of his case is expected to begin.

Prosecution states that on the 7th of September 2018 at Shoprite CloakTowers in Kampala district, Nduhukire and others still a large robbed a mobile phone Infinix Hot5 valued at 570,000 ugandan shillings belonging to a one Nagawa Farudah.

On Wednesday, the same court charged the suspect with robbing a samsung mobile phone valued at 12.5million shillings belonging to a one Winky Junior on the 20th of December 2018.
