Mbale: Uganda Christian University guild election results have been nullified.

The Guild Election results of Uganda Christian University, Mbale Campus have been nullified by the Electoral Appeals Board Committee. Yonasani Bululu won the 2nd November election r defeating his rival Jacqueline Ajego who   petitioned the Guild Electoral Commission citing irregularities during the elections.  Guild’s Returning Officer, Martha Apio explains.

For the first time since its creation, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) has allocated 37 billion shillings to divisions in the 2019/20 financial budgeting process.  The division mayors have been lobbying for creation of budget votes for their areas as a process of implementing section 31 of KCCA 2010 Act which establishes the office of division town clerk.

A 32-Year-Old Security Guard has pinned his former best Friend Emmanuel Eguki for defiling his 10-year old daughter.  The father, whose particulars have been  withheld to protect the daughter’s identity told the High Court Criminal Division sitting in Kampala that he was staying with his best friend and daughter at the time the incident happened, two years ago.

53year old boda boda man has been charged and further remanded to Luzira prison for allegedly defiling an 11year old grandchild .Plugensio Ssebandeke denied aggravated defilement offence before High Court Judge Jane Frances Abodo.
