Residents of Mbarara are launching a campaign today to start disposing off plastic waste. Plastic waste in Mbarara will be recycled into fresh re-usable materials.
The recycling plant located in Mbarara Uganda investment Authority industrial park will crush 10 tens of plastic waste per day.
keneth Tumusiime the managing director of plawaste consult the company newly set up to crush the waste says the decision was taken because plastic waste had become a health harzard in Mbarara municipality.
