MEMBERS OF THE 10TH PARLIAMENT OF UGANDA TAKE OATH

The swearing in of Members of the 10th Parliament of Uganda commenced Monday 16th in the morning and over 75 MPS have taken their oath of Allegiance before starting their duties.

The three day ceremony is being presided over by the Clerk to Parliament, Jane Kibirige and is being held at the South Wing of the main Parliament Building.

The Members of the 10th Parliament are allowed only five people to accompanied  them while the rest are waiting from the National theater parking yard

The swearing in ceremony, will end on Wednesday 18th May 2016.

On Thursday the election of speaker and deputy speaker will take place.
