The Ministry of Health is seeking for a supplementary budget of 3.5 billion shillings to shift some departments in Mulago hospital to Kawempe and Kiruddu health centers in Kampala districts.
The director Mulago hospital Dr Baterana Byarugaba says that some of the departments cannot continue functioning at the hospital because of the construction works which are going on.
Baterana says that the shifting is scheduled for 20th of this month.
