By Deo Wasswa

The female youth Member of Parliament Anna Adeke says the government should come out and tell Ugandans whether it abandoned process of amending article 26 of land Act other than keeping quite or doing it in silently.

Speaking  at a press conference where Uganda land alliance presented their demand from the government on the land amendment processes, Adeke has noted that when the government decide to keep quite yet it had started on the process it creates insecurity to Ugandans with their land.

Among the demands presented  includes, members of parliament to withdraw the bill and stay away from giving the bill any chance of bouncing back on the floor of parliament.

Once the article is amended, it will give powers to the government to apply forceful acquisition of land  before compensating the owners .
