Hima cement factory has donated 400 bags of cement to Uganda police to help in the construction of its housing unit project.
The cement was received by the Inspector General of Police Kale Kayihura at police headquarters Naguru.
While handing over the cement, Ambrose Byona the head of protocol Hima Cement Limited said they are ready to support the project by supplying all the cement required.
Kayihura also revealed that 26,000 housing units will be constructed countrywide starting with 10,000 for Kampala metropolitan.
The project has already started in Naguru barracks with laying of bricks.
