Amuru police arrests woman for killing her husband

Amuru Police are holding a woman accused of killing her husband. The suspect is Concy Acaa, a resident of Tetura Kal Village in Pabbo Sub County in Amuru district.

It is alleged that Acaa hit her husband, David Komakech with a wooden log on the head on Saturday during a domestic brawl.

Komaketch sustained injuries on the head and was rushed to St. Mary's hospital Lacor where he was pronounced dead on Sunday.

Patrick Jimmy Okema, the Aswa River Region Police spokesperson, says Acaa faces murder charges contrary to provisions of the penal code act.

He advises members of the public to explore alternative dispute resolution avenues during disagreements.
