Police joins Nakasero blood bank to donate blood

The Kampala metropolitan police joins Nakasero blood bank to collect and donate blood in their campaign to promote neighborhood watch campaign.

Speaking to journalists after donating blood at the constitution square today, the commander of Kampala metropolitan Frank Mwesigwa says they have partnered with Nakasero blood bank. This is because in their day-to-day operations, they see a need for blood when they get victims of crime from scenes of crime.

The blood donation is part of the activities a head of the sports gala at Wankulukuku this Sunday to promote neighborhood watch. He appeals to institutions and members of public to take part in blood donation to save lives.

The Nakasero blood bank donor recruitment officer Dominic Abaho urges hospitals that sale donated blood to stop it.
