Members of Parliament from Buganda under Uganda Parliamentary Caucus are set to go to  Masaka tomorrow to help in the investigations of ongoing murders in the sub-region.

The chairperson of the caucus Mohammed Muwanga Kivumbi says they want to ascertain what is on the ground and see how they can advise the people to overcome the problem.

The move follows ongoing murders that have left close to 30 people killed by Panga wielding men over the last month.

Kivumbi has also warned the Minister for ICT and National Guidance Dr. Chris Baryomunsi to desist from politicizing the murder of the people in greater Masaka following his remarks on Tuesday pinning politicians over the murders.

Both political leaders and people in greater Masaka have pleaded with the security organs to allow them do community policing so they can get rid of these criminals but the security agents say they leave them to do their work .
