The Uganda Peoples Defense forces has confirmed that there is still threats of terrorism against the country which they are closely monitoring that led to the arrest of four people.

The arrests of the four who are all Ugandans, follows the arrest of a suspected suicide bomber identified as Katumba Abdul alias Ben who was arrested from Pader District with assortments of bomb making equipment allegedly planing to attack the burial of Lt. Gen. Paul Lokech

Lt Col Ronald Kakurungu the deputy UPDF spokesperson while addressing Media at Naguru revealed that following the arrest of Katumba Abdul, they started operations of establishing his accomplices in Kampala and eventually led to the arrest of four people whom he says are currently helping in the ongoing investigations and operations against the terrorists.

Lt Col Kakurungu further revealed that the suspects who include those arrested from Lungujja, are part of the ADF terrorists who have been establishing sleeper cells in various parts of the country especially Kampala..
