Three arrested for threatening to kill people in Entebbe

Three men have been arrested for allegedly dropping leaflets threatening to kill people in Entebbe.

Police together with sister security agencies  conducted an operation Tuesday night and caught the three red handed dropping  threatening anonymous letters in area of Katabi  town council.

Police spokesman Fred Enanga has identified the suspects as Lubega William a mechanic, Kiliggwajjo Hasadu former security guard to Katabi mayor, and Baluku Ronald al residents of Bunono in Katabi town council Wakiso district.

Some of the prominent people whose lives are being threatened  include Katabi Council Mayor Ronald Kalema , John Mary Ssebowa and journalists operating in Entebbe area.

According to Enanga these are part of a gang of thugs that  have been plucking off number plates from vehicles  in Katabi area.

Police recovered  number plates and breaking implements  during the operation.
