City Hall Court has remanded 13 people who were arrested in a bar drinking and dancing during curfew hours.
The suspects were arraigned before grade one magistrate Valerian Tuhimbise and charged with disobedience of unlawful orders, which they denied.
They included house girls, potters, TV technicians among others.They were remanded to Kitalya government prison until the 25th of this month for trial.
Prosecution led by Viola Tusingwire states that on October 10th 2021 at Kyebando Chill-out Bar in Kampala district, the accused disobeyed presidential command by gathering in a bar while drinking and dancing without observing standard operating procedures.
