Grasshoppers are one of the famous and popular Ugandan delicacies loved and anticipated by many during the months of April and November.

Many business people join this seasonal lucrative trade to make abnormal profits.

Kamulegeya further narrates that early this month grasshoppers were so expensive and a sack was between 250,000 shillings  and 300,000 shillings.

However on Wednesday  a sack was  selling between 120,000 and 80,000  and he attributed this to the bumper harvest of the grasshoppers this time round.
