Following signing a Management Agreement between Hilton (NYSE: HLT) and TWED Property Development Company (TWED) which will bring the flagship of Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand to Uganda.

The project (TWED Heights) is a twin high rise building with 26 (twenty-six) levels comprised of a hotel tower with 19 levels and the office tower with 16 levels, 5 basement parking and 3 podium floors all on a built-up space of about 75,600 sqm on Plot 18 Kyadondo Road and Plot 16 Lourdel Road.

The 26 storey development comprises of an internationally branded Hilton Hotel of 257 hotelrooms. A business center with a 500-seater ballroom, 10 meeting rooms and a 2 state of the artboard rooms. For the F&B: 5 outlets include: The first & highest rooftop bar in Kampala with city,golf course and lake views, an authentic sports bar, an indoor & outdoor all-day dining restaurant,a lobby bar and a unique pool terrace bar.

The recreation facilities are composed of; gym, infinity swimming pool, a full spa center, incidental typical hotel shopping and medical unit for the building occupants. Guests will be able to choose between upscale guest rooms and a range of suites,including a Presidential Suite.

Shell construction is 100% complete and have started the final phase of the finishing as per the Hilton standards and is expected to offer corporate offices, 8 Executive apartments on the office block and ahelipad.
