The East African Court of Justice (EACJ) has resumesd it's November rotational Sessions at the Commercial Court in Kampala, Uganda.
The Court started with Scheduling a case of a one Nzabimana Edourd v. The Attorney General of the Republic of Burundi, a matter on land dispute.
The Applicants represented by Counsel Jet Tumwebaze, prayed to Court to grant them more time to file an amendment in the Reference to specifically include Special damages.
Court allowed the prayer by the Applicants and ordered that the amended Statement of the Reference be filed to Court by Monday 7th November, the Respondent to file the reply by 11th November and the Scheduling Conference be held on 18th November 2022.
The Respondent was represented by Counsel Vyizigiro Diomede representing the Attorney General of Burundi.
Ms. NZABIMANA Francoise the widow of the deceased Applicant was present in Court.
