Students excel in Cambridge Exams after UCE

Uganda's Education standards have significantly improved despite the underlying challenges facing the education sector.

In a thrilling message to parents , Muhamed Kakiika the head teacher at Viena college Namugongo says the students have successfully accomplished and performed to their best in the just released 0ctober-November 2022 Cambridge “A” Level results.

Viena college on Tuesday  released  the first examination results of the first batch of Ugandan students who transitioned from the National Curriculum as a result of the effects imposed by the COVID-19  lockdown and complete closure of schools.

After taking their special “O” Level UNEB Examinations in March 2021, hundreds of parents took interest and enrolled their children into the Cambridge Education Programme from April 2021 to October/November 2022

 Ugandan schools offering the Cambridge curriculum include Vienna college Namugongo which has the highest number of candidates, followed by  Kabojja, Agakhan, International school of Uganda, Kampala international school, Galaxy, Rainbow, Acons, Heritage,and Taibah schools.

The completion this set of exams now paves way for the students to join International universities.
