Queen Kaftah the 18 year student whose video torturing her friend over a lover, has been sentenced to three years imprisonment.
Kaftah a student of Trinity College Nabweru has been sentenced after she pleaded guilty to the offence of aggravated torture causing grievous harm to her juvenile friend Pretty Nicole Eseza.
The Kira Court Chief Magistrate Roselyn Nsenge ruled that the sentence of 3years is to serve as a lesson to the convict and to deter other would be offenders from committing the same offence.
Kaftah a Tanzanian by Nationality turned herself to the authorities after police made an appeal to the public to disclose the identities of the girls in the videos.
She Committed the offence on January 8th 2023 at Nsasa zone in Kira Municipality.
Queen Kaftah is one of the girls seen in a video that made round on social media while flogging and undressing 15 year old Pretty Nicole whom she accused of being in love with her boyfriend Derrick Lwanga.
