Shock and grief engulfed the Arua business community when a prominent businessman died in a lodge while having sex with his girlfriend.
The deceased has been identified as Ali Mustafa a 25-year-old businessman of Ozu cell Kenya ward in Arua.
It is said that Mustafa suffered a respiratory failure during a love-making session, with one Adania Ratio, at Avenue lodge in Arua City.
The victim collapsed and died in the room, instantly prompting the girlfriend to run to the reception while naked, leaving many wondering what had happened.
According to Fred Enanga, the police spokesperson the girlfriend went and alerted the hotel management, who immediately alerted the police at Arua.
The scene was visited and well documented, and no trace of drugs, poison, or other body influences was recovered.
The body was after that, transferred to Arua Referral Hospital and examined and the postmortem indicated that the businessman had died due to respiratory failure.
The girlfriend was later cleared of any wrongdoing.
Enanga further warns that death during consensual sex can occur for a number of reasons, that include the physical strain of the activity or because of unusual extenuating circumstances.
