Thugs rob property worth UgX 20 million for Church

Police in Wandegeya have launched a manhunt for unknown thugs who broke into a church and stole properties worth Shs 20 million.

According to Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Patrick Onyango, thieves broke into the Living Word Assembly Church located at Plot 21 Lumumba Avenue and stole five laptops, one CPU, one floodlight mixer and a TV screen all valued at approximately Ugx 20 million.

He says the thieves used the rare part of the church by outstretching the tent canvass to gain entry into the sanctuary.

According to footage, one of the suspects was wearing a blue shirt with Khaki trousers.Early this week thugs broke into Nswanjere Junior Seminary and robbed cash and other important properties.

The attackers injured four priests including father Kyeyune Godfrey the vice rector, at Nswanjere seminary, father Emmanuel Mukukule, Bro John Bosco Mwasa and Father John Kigundu who l are nursing injuries at Rubaga hospital.
