Five University Student in Trouble over Narcotics

Five university students are currently in police custody,  on allegation  of possessing narcotics, which is in violation of the law.

Among these individuals, three are enrolled at Makerere University and have been identified as follows: George Oloma, aged 26; Julius Peter Ojok, aged 25, a student at the Dental school; and Emmy Echana, aged 26, who is pursuing a degree in law at the prestigious ivory towers.

The remaining two suspects are Emmanuel Odongo, a student at Uganda Christian University (UCU), and Fred Okot, who is currently studying Business Administration at Makerere University Business School (MUBS).

According to Fred Enanga, the Police Spokesperson, these suspects were apprehended in one of the residential blocks within Makerere University's premises while in possession of illicit narcotics.
