Eritrean National Remanded For attempting to cause Death

An  Eritrean National has been remanded foe allegedly attempting to cause the death of a colleague through a serious fight.

22 year old Kokob Merhawi  a resident of Nakulabye in Kampala district appeared before Buganda Road Court grade one magistrate Ronald Kayizzi but could not  plead to the charges due to the absence of Eritrean interpreter in Court.

He was remanded to Luzira prison until October 4th 2023 when he is expected to take plea after court gets an Eritrean interpreter. 

Prosecution states that on September 12th 2023 at Nakulabye in Rubaga Division, the accused person attempted to cause the death of Keste Daniel.
