Uganda will produce 10 million Animal vaccines monthly for cows, goats, and sheep.

"With time you're looking at a situation whereby we shall completely eradicate ticks from the grazing land using our vaccine if we agree to control the musing of the vaccine, And that's why we need some kind of a policy directive," says Yona Baguma the director general NARO.

The MPs visited the NARO Institutes of Mukono (MuZARDI) and Namulonge (NaCRRI). Yona Baguma says mandatory vaccination will reed the entire country of ticks.

"Once this vaccine is rolled out and available for farmers, every Ugandan farmer must apply the vaccine, then that we shall have a country that is free of ticks," Baguma said.
