The Uganda Red Cross Society has launched the "HumanitNeeds You" campaign, a call to action for the public to join the National Society in making a difference in the country.
The campaign aims at appealing to the public to support Uganda Red Cross Society initiatives, raise funds to support various programs and activities of the Uganda Red Cross as well as educate the public on the role of the Uganda Red Cross in Uganda The "Humanity Needs You" campaign comes at a time when the Uganda Red Cross society marks 60 years of dedicated service to humanity.
According to Robert Kwesiga, the Secretary General Uganda Red Cross was established in 1964 and has since been at the forefront of saving lives, building resilient communities, and promoting human dignity.
