Fred Enanga, the Police Spokesperson informed the journalists  during weekly media briefing in Kampala  that at least 33 cases of aggravated torture and abuses of children in the videos have been registered in Kampala Metropolitan area .

He revealed that  most of the suspects have been arraigned before courts of law.

According to Enanga  most of the suspects involved in these criminal acts are parents, guardians and caretakers .

Enanga however says that they are hunting for a female suspect in  Bbunga -Kabalagala, Makindye division seen in video torturing her son.

He sounded a warning to whoever may be  hiding her , saying they will also be apprehended once found.

Police has also warned film producers to stop publishing videos of children tortured and abused that have no warning messages and mislead the public, citing the recent video on social media that showed a mother burying her live  son with soil in a  dug pit
