KCCA ED Kisaka rallies public to support Smart City Project

Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Executive Director Dorothy Kisaka rallies city dwellers to support Smart City Concept for better and clean city admired by everyone.

While meeting USAFI market traders yesterday, Kisaka said that Smart city is a concept brought to make Kampala city clean and it's being implemented by volunteers to fulfill government goals.

Kisaka adds that through the use of some reasonable force and with the help of security agencies they have helped many vendors to vacate the streets of Kampala city and so far more than 300 vendors have been given stalls in USAFI Market.

She also discloses that no illegal vending will take place anymore in Kampala but also advised boda boda riders and tax drivers who are illegally operating in ungazetted places within the city to move into gazetted areas like parks and stages before the situation turns dark.

Meanwhile she has assured traders in USAFI Market as well as its leadership of their taxi park that all their problems are going to be worked upon as soon as possible andurged them to be calm.
