All 15 University Students Granted Bail.

All the 15 University students who were remanded for participating in an illegal assembly have finally been granted bail .

This is after Buganda Road Court  grade one magistrate Sienna Owomugisha released the  remaining five  and ordered them to report back to court on the 27th of June. 

The last five included Musiri David, Kyazze Maddy, Wenani Gerald, Ssekidde Allan and Igambi Pewa.

These are part of the 15 University students who were arrested two weeks  ago at Parliament trying to protest against the ongoing high commodity prices.

The students are from different universities Including Makerere university and Bussiness school, and Kyambogo University. 

They are charged with unlawful assembly; a charge they deny.The Court temporarily released them to allow the group do their ongoing examinations. End.
