Rwandese Remanded for stealing Charcoal

A Rwandese  National has been sent on remand at Luzira prison on allegations that he stole two Charcoal stoves.

Prosecution contends that 19 year old  Vunisiti Eric from  Kulambiro village, and others still at large on January  29th, 2024  at Ntinda Nakawa Division in Kampala District,  stole two Charcoal stoves  all valued at 350,000 shillings and cash amounting to 100,000 shillings.

These were properties of a one Nkuranga Peter. He denied the charges.

Still in court a 34 year old man was  remanded to Luzira Government prison for allegedly stealing 8 boxes of mineral water.

Arihihi Movad a sales man and a resident of Kifumbira zone in Kampala District denied the charge of theft when he appeared before City hall Court Grade One Magistrate Edgar Karakire. He will appear again in court after 14 days.

Meanwhile a  21 year old House maid is in trouble for alleged theft of 1.5 million shillings from her boss.

Babra Ato a  resident of Bukoto Brown flats in Nakawa division - Kampala District,appeared   before Kampala City Hall Court grade one magistrate  and denied the allegations.

However immediately after she denied the offence of theft, the trial magistrate remanded her to Luzira Prison until February 21st 2024 when she will re-appear for mention of the case.

Court heard that on January  21st  2024 at Bukoto Brown flats Nakawa Division in Kampala District the suspect stole cash totaling 1.5 million shillings the property of her boss Abel  Barigye.
