NRM asked to be clear about their participation in the national dialogue

By Robert Segawa

Opposition party, Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has accused president Museveni for failing preparations for the much anticipated national dialogue.

The inter- religious council of Uganda IRCU recently started meeting different stake holders including political parties in country to consult about the forthcoming national dialogue.

The FDC party chairman Wasswa Birigwa while addressing the media at the party headquarters today said that ever since president Museveni was consulted on whether him self and his party the NRM are willing to participate in the dialogue they have never given a positive answer to that effect.

Birigwa adds that this is not good and could lead to more violence among Ugandans as many hold grudges against others due to the several difference s that exist between them.

He calls upon president to reflect on the importance of national dialogue to save our country.
