By Robert Segawa

The Uganda police force appeals to all members of the public especially travelers and motorists to be more conscious as they park their vehicles to see that they are fully locked.

The police spokesperson, Emilian Kayima told the press today at Central Police Station Kampala that the police was prompted to conduct an operation in Kampala metropolitan after getting concerns about criminals who snatch people's properties during traffic jam in broad day light where more than 400 suspects were arrested and committed to courts of law.

He raises concern that members of public should be vigilant after realizing that criminals have been stealing motor  vehicle parts during traffic jam without intervening. He adds that the operations is still on going.
